About Grok Recently

I don't understand why so many people on X reacted to Elon posting a Grok-generated low-poly chibi model as if humanity had just landed on the moon.
This isn't some technological breakthrough. It's just generating a decent-looking low-poly render. That's actually pretty simple.

Aside from Elon's example, most of what others generate has that obvious "AI look," sometimes even stuck somewhere between 2.5D and 3D.
The hands are the easiest place to make mistakes, and Grok seems to have made those mistakes as well.

If anything, what would truly prove Grok's strength is whether it can generate an actual 3D model in .obj format — something you can import into Maya and inspect the topology.
A good render is easy. The real measure of a model is its topology and edge flow — that's what determines quality.
But Grok is only generating images.
